COIL Foundations provides the necessary tools to develop and facilitate a successful and rewarding Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) collaboration. Participants examine issues of culture, language, virtual team building, partnership, and the importance of reflection through the lens of culture. This training includes how to support students’ intercultural team skills online, considerations for finding and maintaining a strong relationship with COIL teaching partners, and the importance of reflection activities. Participants receive certificates of completion.
