
Director, Global Programs
Craig Geddes is a mission-driven, globally minded, education and development leader who serves as Director of Global Programs for the Stevens Initiative at the Aspen Institute. With degrees in International Relations and Government from The College of William and Mary, combined with over 21 years of experience living and working in the United States, Europe, and the Global South, Craig has spent his career designing, managing, and executing complex, donor funded humanitarian, development, education, and exchange programs across the world. At both the HQ and field level Craig has extensive experience leading high-level strategy processes, extensive marketing and communication campaigns with diverse donors, large-scale projects across technical sectors, and diverse teams of people. Born in Zimbabwe to British parents, Craig has a deep seated passion to help those who are less fortunate, to support projects that help transform communities, and to engage and equip the next generation of leaders across the world.
